To start... My last few entries have been of the fluffy birthday kind, so I will attempt to post something with a little more depth now.
Work called me to LA for a few days and in turn I got to see my BBJ while he was out visiting Alicia. If you can believe I actually pried Zoe away from Justin long enough to... uhm... take pictures. :D Just kidding, but we had a great time catching up and everything. Mindy was nice enough to join me for lunch, where I coaxed her into going to Las Vegas with me. ::More on that later:: and Tara and I had the chance to go shopping, she seems to be doing well and making new friends like Knoxville, other than that we just talked about work. It was great seeing all of you again.
Thankfully shooting wrapped early enough on the set of Entourage for me to make a surprise visit to my boyfriend. The look on Brian's face was priceless. We had been talking for about an hour, naturally I was so excited everything shiny distracted me. At one point he was like 'Emmy are you ok? You sound like you don't want to talk to me or something.' Indeed I didn't want to talk to him, I wanted to see him. I thought I was so busted when he said he was sitting outside, I was sure the driver was going to park right in front of him. It all worked out in the end and of course I had to pour it on thick before I let him know I was there. I ask him 'What would you do if I just showed up at your door right now?'. *Insert mushy answer here* I knocked on the door. He was so shocked he dropped the phone where he stood. It was absolutely perfect. We were able to spend a few hours together before I had to leave again.
And sadly leave I did...
However I was headed to Las Vegas, Nevada to support Lance in his charity weekend. Usher's birthday was Friday so we had to celebrate at once! We met up in the ghost bar when his plane got in from Atlanta. From there we went to a great club on the strip. I have never danced so much in my life... or been given quite so many death stares. The ladies love him, at one point we had to literal pull him out of the crowd, hence the 'if looks could kill' I got from the female patrons. Whatever girls... All in all it was so great to hang out with him. We talked about some old times, funny stories from the set and how busy we are going to be next month. Everyone sang to him over his cake in the vip lounge where he met Mindy and Hilarie for the first time.
Ahhhh yes.... MIN & HIL my dear sweet bad influences. I'm so happy we see eye to eye on the fact that jello is evil, elevators are great dance floors, awkward moments are better avoided, all hail king James for packing aspirin, and WE ARE LOVED! Hahaha and before I say way too much about that I'll stop there because you know... 'What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas'
So moving on, Emmy had to wish Eminem the very best on his birthday... I just didn't want to leave you out. *hugs* Before I came to Hawaii to celebrate with the guys for Chris' birthday. This place is simply breath taking. I could not have dreamed of a better place to re-cooperate. Tanning on the beach swimming in the crystal blue water, the stars at night. I can see why Raven misses it here so very much. Though I have something missing and he knows who he is, I have avoided all hammocks per Ray's advice. Not to mentions seeing these guys together again... well most of them, it really tugs at the heart strings. Justin is busy as always but he is here very heavily in spirit. Smee! Get Well Soon, I hate it when you are sick! While here in Hawaii I have found the perfect places to bring Reesh back to on our family vacation. There is so much to do here... I suppose I should go do something, eh? Haha
